Testimonials about Yoga as Medicine for Pregnancy and Postpartum
“Prenatal Yoga Therapy is a wonderful course – it has been well researched and well written (by Ginger). The depth of her knowledge in prenatal yoga is fantastic.”

I just attended your yoga as medicine for pregnancy course in NYC & it was so exhilarating. ( I was the one in the front wearing a skirt). I have suspected for a long time that yoga is something I need in my own personal life and would benefit the women I treat in my PT practice. So thank you for opening my eyes to all yoga has to offer women at every stage of life.
Thanks so much!
I am seeing a patient now…2 years post-partum, traumatic twin delivery (vaginal and C-section), with one of the twins passing after 2 months. She had been to PT who specializes in women’s health/pelvic floor, other PT, and many doctors with minimal progress over the 2 years. Through the use of PT and MTY, she progressed significantly after 6 visits. She is beyond grateful. All the encouragement that I need to keep me going on to phase #2;)

This course was very thorough and detailed. The ‘hands-on’ lab was most beneficial for me, and as a midwife I will use all the techniques I learned here today in my midwifery practice!

The greatest strength of Ginger’s teaching in Yoga as Medicine for Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum was the research and also the additional materials she presented. Ginger is well organized and the curriculum is excellent and very useable. I can immediately use all of this with my patient population!
Ginger is amazing! This course was so in alignment with what I am trying to do professionally in integrative medicine – integrating the expertise and doctoral-level education with mindfulness information and providing this to patients in a way that the general public understands. It is even more valuable to spend time with a physical therapist who is experienced in yoga because of the elevated knowledge base we have. Ginger empowers the individual with that knowledge.

The great strength of Ginger’s teaching in Yoga as Medicine for Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum is the evidence-based practice. All information she provides is supported by current science. And getting to practice and try all the movement therapies she teaches with assistance from Ginger for modifications and proper positioning is invaluable.
