I have personal experience with this as my eldest son was born with heart defects and developmental issues. I sought both western and eastern solutions to help his conditions. The Chinese medicine physician we consulted counseled that a “cold” heart goes hand in hand with diminished communication skills. In other words, heart disease tends to hamper communication. Without communicating well our relationships suffer – not just with others but also with our self.
