The Future of Wellness Services within Physical Therapy (Live Interview)

Interview with Ginger Garner through the Integrative Pelvic Health Institute on The Future of Wellness Services within Physical Therapy and the role of nutrition in physical therapy scope of practice.

Integrative physical therapist Ginger Garner talks shop with Jessica Drummond, founder of Integrative Pelvic Health Institute, in an interview about legal and scope of practice issues surrounding the inclusion of nutrition counseling and other integrative services within physical therapy.

Ginger discusses why nutrition is a part of a physical therapist’s scope of practice based on the 20th century evolution of physical therapy practice. Physical therapist’s are faced with more and more complex patient populations, with many international organizations, including the WHO, recognizing that comorbidities are the norm and no longer the exception in patient management, making lifestyle counseling essential to the task of PT practice. Clean-Food

Learn why nutritional counseling is a critical part of patient education in PT practice, and how it looks in everyday clinical practice based on Ginger’s experience and support from the literature and international clinical practice guidelines.

Hi! Sounds like this would be a great interview. Can’t seem to access it, though. Is there a way to still listen to it? Thx!
